Class 46 D177 in British Railways Green Livery |
This is the third in the series of "Peak" locomotives. It's also the first green loco in the range. It features a n even more highly detailed body shape than the first two! Indeed this is a completely re-worked model. Also, unlike it's predecesors, this loco has a fresh coat of paint with none of the dirt and weathering that blighted the blue locos. To reflect this (literally) D177 has specular effects enabled as standard. It also features working red tail lights.
The entire loco weighs in at a total of around 30,000 polys (inc. both bogeys). There are also several large texture maps. Although LODs are used, the sheer complexity of this locomotive may make it unsuitable for some low-end systems.
